About Jared Nodine

Qualifications

Jared Nodine has received a master’s degree in counseling and development with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winthrop University. He is certified by the South Carolina Board as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A # 8892). Jared has a background in community mental health counseling and has completed several hundred hours of direct, client-facing counseling.

Counseling Approach

Jared utilizes an integrative approach when counseling, and pulls from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential, Psychodynamic, and many other theories and techniques to best serve his clients’ needs. Fundamentally, he focuses on a strong counselor and client relationship where collaboration between the two is used to assess problems, produce a treatment plan, and achieve client goals. There are no one-size fits all approaches when it comes to treatment, and Jared, LPC-A specializes in finding what works best for each of his clients.
