Lexi received a master’s degree in Counseling and Development, with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winthrop University. Lexi has a background in community mental health counseling and school-based counseling, and has completed several hundred hours of direct, client-facing counseling.
Lexi utilizes an eclectic, person-centered approach when counseling, along with incorporating other therapeutic theories and techniques such as Humanistic, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Lexi believes that every client is an individual and tailors her therapeutic approach based on the client’s needs. Lexi is an LGBTQ affirming counselor and believes every person should feel comfortable and safe to be who they are.

When she's not counseling, Lexi enjoys volunteering at her local animal shelter and fostering cats and kittens
Meet Dallas! Dallas is Lexi's task trained service animal. With client consent, Dallas may attend sessions with clients 18 and up. Dallas does not attend sessions with any client under the age of 18.
